It comes as a surprise that writers screw around. New York Magazine has this take on Erica Jong and Edmund White, writers who recently published memoirs chronicling their sex lives.

Someday, I'd like to write such a book. I better start my research.

Oh, I'm so mortified to say that I stood in a bookstore yesterday (well, at least it was an independent) and read a chapter from the Jong book...
maybe I should write about my non existent sex life. It would be a memoir of course. Memoirs being half fabrication.
Comprehensive research is the key! Do be thorough!
I would probably get so caught up in the research as to forget the book.
To paraphrase Captain Renault in "Casablanca, "I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you, to learn that sex is going on around here."
My sex life would make a great novel...LOL
