Literary Choice: Beloved

It was interesting to read that the number one choice of Best Work of American Fiction in the Last Twenty-Five Years was Beloved by Toni Morrison (above). Also interesting was that Philip Roth had made the runner-up list with a few of his novels. It's amazing how we come up with this stuff.

But we just love
1. Lists
2. Lists
3. Lists

yes, we love lists. and this was an interesting one. I preferred "Song of Solomon" to "Beloved," and "Jesus' Son" and "Pastoralia"to both of those. I guess I'm just a closet white-male supremist. but i take that back - i've never read john updike.
