I don't know about you, but I cried when Mr. Obama accepted the nomination tonight. CRIED! There was so much hope in his speech, so much. When he mentioned proper treatment of gay and lesbians, I teared up. When he talked about the proper treatment of immigrants, I cupped my mouth to stifle a cry. (Ur, I was driving in my car and concerned that I would be pulled over for reckless crying)
His speech was so well written, so well delivered. I knew he was a good writer when I read his book, but this speech (and all the other writers who put in their two cents, I'm sure) was amaaaaaaaaaazing.

Noel - It was wonderful to watch/listen to history being made wasn't it? Am glad you practised safe crying/driving. It is a great time to be alive (finally) - think of the positive changes we will all continue to witness. Jill
I was so impressed by all of this and more, especially when I realized he wasn't reading from a speech. It really seemed too natural to even be a teleprompter.
Hi Kalikasmom and Sanguinetti, yeah, Mr. Obama impressed the heck out me. I feel change in the air.
Yes, I loved how he emphasized how we are all one people and that we all deserve love and respect. It was beautiful.
I am genuinely hoping that I'm a hot ass crying mess on November 5th!
