The "Pub. Date" is the date when a book is officially out. Even though my novel has been available for the past six weeks or so (it needs those weeks to wind its way into bookstores across the country), today is when I can say my novel is actually published. I'm not an author with a second book coming out. Today, I'm an author with two books out.
I think my baby looks pretty good!

Then someone needs to update his blog profile, hmm? Just finished #2 while stuck in the Phoenix airport.
Rich, you're right. Done. Being stuck in airports are great times to read.
Conrats! And looking forward to the 24th. I hate to admit that I haven't read yet because Amazon is being really sloooooow with this order because of multiple items. Just another reason to buy another at Skylight.
Can't wait to see you at Cal State L.A. on the 28th! They've had your books on sale in the bookstore there for a couple weeks already
:-)
Any chance of your coming to Tucson to do a reading? :)
Check out Casa Libre! You might want to consider doing a residency here while working on the "next one!"
Congratulations! This is so wonderful! Looking foreward to getting my hands on a copy!
The best part about reading at airports are those momentary discussions with bookreaders from hither and yon who peer at your bookcover and ask you how it is... and like those Zacky Farms commercials where Mrs. Zacky says at the end, "...and you know, I never did tell them my name!"
All's fair in love and guerilla marketing. It isn't like you hung an electric sign of your bookcover from a Boston overpass, after all.
