I agree with Prince. Having an African American president-elect is encouraging people of color all over the world!
What a gorgeous first family. I'm enjoying this honeymoon period when Barack Obama is still Mr. Hope and hasn't yet proved to be a fallible human who makes compromises for political reasons. Even then, though, I suspect I'll still like him more than I've liked any other president in my lifetime.
Such a beautiful day. I am absolutely overwhelmed. I wore my shades all day because my eyes are so swollen from crying. What a beautiful, wondrous moment!
